Thursday Night Football Recap
Week 10 NFL Fantasy Leaders
Interesting Week 11 Player Markets
Propellor Sports Company Update
TNF Football Recap
Final Score: Baltimore Ravens 34, Cincinnati Bengals 20
Are Thursday Night Football games cursed? Joe Burrow (101 yards passing) stayed under his passing yardage total because he left the game in the first half with a wrist injury and didn’t return. Mark Andrews (two catches, 23 yards) had a solid start to the game as well, but was lost for the season in the first quarter with an ankle injury. The early injuries had sports bettors clamoring for refunds.
In the rest of the game, the Ravens – not surprisingly – dominated against Bengals backup QB Jake Browning and won 34-20. Gus Edwards (62 yards) and Lamar Jackson (54) both went over their rushing yardage props in the victory.
Week 10 NFL Fantasy Leaders
Keenan Allen, WR, Los Angeles Chargers (40.5 points)
Allen has been a fantasy staple for managers pretty much since he entered the league, and he’s having another good season. Despite being banged up, he had 11 catches for 175 yards and two touchdowns in a 41-38 loss to the Lions.
CeeDee Lamb, WR, Dallas Cowboys (39.5 points)
When your QB has 400+ passing yards and four touchdowns, presumably the lion’s share went to at least one receiver. On Sunday that was Lamb, who caught 11 passes (in 14 targets) for 151 yards and a TD. He also added a 14-yard rushing TD for good measure.
Dak Prescott, QB, Dallas Cowboys (37.9 points)
Dak was on this last week against a much tougher defense in the Eagles; this past Sunday he went up against the fighting Tommy DeVito’s. While he had great field position all day, we gotta give him some credit for throwing for 404 yards and 4 TDs, along with a rushing TD. It was an easy day at the office for the Cowboys QB.
Interesting Week 11 Player Markets
Back to being perfect, with a 3 for 3 week in this space last week. Listen up!
Russell Wilson UNDER 210.5 passing yards
Wilson has gone under his passing yardage total in seven of nine games this season. We know he led Denver to an impressive upset win against the Bills on Monday night, but there was a lot of magic involved there. Minnesota’s defense has been very good the last couple of weeks. This should be a low-scoring, ugly game.
Tommy DeVito UNDER 161.5 passing yards
We said DeVito wasn’t ready for the Cowboys defense last week – and boy were we right. We don’t think it’s going to go much better against a Commanders team that needs a win, let’s go back to the well here.
Amon-Ra St. Brown OVER 86.5 receiving yards
St. Brown is a machine and has gone over his receiving yardage prop in six of Detroit’s eight games this season. He’s had at least 56 receiving yards in every game this season and at least 102 in the last four games. We like him to go over this number again on Sunday.
