TNF Football Recap

Final Score: Kansas City Chiefs 19, Denver Broncos 8

The Chiefs thoroughly dominated the Broncos as Travis Kelce (nine catches, 124 yards) went well over his receiving yardage total (64.5 yards). Patrick Mahomes (306 yards passing) also cleared his passing yardage total (270.5), while Russell Wilson fell woefully short of his (95 yards passing on an O/U of 215.5).

The only reason this game was relatively close is because the Chiefs were 1-for-5 in the red zone, including an interception and a failed QB sneak from a tight end on a fake field goal attempt (yes, you read that right).

And yes, the Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce circus continues. Despite Al Michaels promise before the telecast that they would keep the coverage to a minimum, viewers were forced to witness this image of T-Swift and Brittany Mahomes celebrating after a simple first down pick up.

Week 4 NFL Fantasy Leaders

Ja’Marr Chase, WR, Cincinnati Bengals (52.2 points)

Chase said before the game that he was always open, and Joe Burrow made sure to get him the ball in this one. Chase had a ridiculous 15 catches for 192 yards and three TDs on 19 targets in a 34-20 win over the Cardinals.

DJ Moore, WR, Chicago Bears (49.0 points)

It was a career night for Moore last Thursday Night Football, as he caught eight passes (on 10 targets) for 230 yards. Oh yeah, and he also had three touchdowns. Maybe that was the game that will get Justin Fields back on track.

Travis Etienne Jr., RB, Jacksonville Jaguars (36.4 points)

Across the pond in London, Etienne put on a show against a very good Bills defense. He rushed for 136 yards and two TDs, including a game-sealing 35-yard TD run with 2:56 left in the game in Jacksonville’s 25-20 win.

Week 5 Player Markets to Watch

Bryce Young UNDER 217.5 passing yards

The No. 1 overall pick has struggled so far this season and has gone under his passing yardage total in three of four games this season.

Gardnew Minshew OVER 226.5 passing yards

With Anthony Richardson on IR, Minshew gets the start against the Jaguars. The Colts will likely be behind and Minshew isn’t afraid to throw it around the yard.

Tua Tagovailoa UNDER 4.5 rushing yards

Against a solid Carolina defense, the plan should be to get the ball out quickly of Tua’s hands to make sure he stays healthy, while the Dolphins roll to another win. There shouldn’t be much scrambling involved.
